Methi Paneer Recipe

Methi Paneer is a popular paneer recipe made with fenugreek leaves. It is healthy and nutritious and has a memorable taste. A special winter recipe, Methi Paneer tastes great with parathas and naan and can also be served with steaming hot rice.

Ingredients of Shahi Paneer

  • Step 1

    Cut and wash the fenugreek leaves. Apply salt and keep aside for 30 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Squeeze out the water out of fenugreek leaves and wash again.

  • Step 3

    Boil in 2 cups water for 5 minutes. Drain off the water and squeeze the fenugreek leaves to remove all traces of water.

  • Step 4

    Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the onion, add the fenugreek leaves and saute for 5 minutes.

  • Step 5

    Add the paneer cubes and the dry masalas. Cook for 5 minutes.

  • Step 6

    Add the cream and remove from flame. Serve hot.
